Remote dba

SQL Server Healthchecks

We know from personal experience that SQL Server does not display outward signs of a problem until it’s too late which can cause an outage as SQL Server can nurse itself along for weeks or even months before finally giving up.
Our SQL Server healthchecks involve a review of your SQL Server installation to ensure it complies with the latest best practices and recommendations and will pick up issues before they become terminal meaning they can often pay for themselves in terms of business outages that are avoided.

A deeper healthcheck involves running a week long System Monitor trace to delve deeper into the performance characteristics of your SQL Server installation which can often highlight hidden problems a standard healthcheck does not pick up.
