After well over a decade in the IT industry working for leading companies including Microsoft, Sybase and Maximizer Software in roles ranging from technical support to consultancy, Era of Data was set up in 2007 by Ajmer Dhariwal to specialise in all things related to Microsoft SQL Server, with a particular focus on performance tuning and optimisation.

Ajmer holds MCITP:DBA, MCDBA, MCSA and Sybase Certified Database Administrator certifications and is presently working for a top 5 bank in London.

He is an active member of the MSDN SQL Server forums where he can frequently be found posting responses to members questions and occasionally blogs on this site on common SQL Server issues.
